Big Man

Tenzman, a world-weary musician, develops an unexpected bond with two bold kids, sparking a journey of purpose and possibility.

Big Man, Abeuk Karia

Stomzy’s latest short film - Big Man, follows the struggle of a ‘washed-up’ rapper, Tenzman, maintaining success whilst trying to keep in touch with his roots. The friendship shown between the young boys and the rapper demonstrates how shared dreams can connect generations. As the young mischievous boys convince Tenzman to take them to Brighton, Tenzman gets inspired by their energy to create new music; therefore, giving him more hope in his life. The beauty of seeing Black boy joy and connecting with an older Black man exemplifies the circularity of life and how fulfilment can be achieved regardless of age, money and class. This was a nice feel-good short that lifts your spirits.
