BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2025
BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2025
STANDING FIRM IN PRIDE AND POWER
With Black History Month 2025, we continue our decade-long tradition of using film and discussion to spotlight Black stories, culture and creativity. This year, under the theme of “Standing Firm in Pride and Power”, we’ll celebrate Black identity, culture and collective strength through a powerful programme of screenings, performances, and conversations.
We believe in the power of cinema to spark dialogue, deepen understanding and empower communities. Our Black History Month events create space for reflection, celebration and action.
PRIDE is about embracing and celebrating identity, heritage, and lived experiences.
POWER reflects the strength of community, legacy, and leadership that inspires generations.
Together, we’ll honour voices past and present through stories that challenge, uplift and unite.
