Rianna Patterson
Rianna Patterson is the founder of the Dominica Dementia Foundation, a youth-led charity supporting those affected by dementia. She received the Queen's Young Leader Award in 2017 by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. Rianna is currently pursuing a PhD in dementia narratives. She has also worked on a dementia awareness short film for the National HealthAuthority (NHS) in the UK and contributes to cultural and community initiatives in Dominica and the UK. She is also a freelance photographer and illustrator, has done media work for Waitukubuli Culture’s Tourism Initiative, Dominica UK Association and the Model Workshop in London.
