Brother Hakim

Trevor Hakim (Black StarLine – Co Founder/ Lead Facilitator): A behaviour improvement specialist, mentor, workshop facilitator, interventionist, Head of faculty, independent education manager and community organiser. Hakim has been implementing and teaching educational and mentoring programmes within secondary schools, pupil referral units, universities and various youth agencies since 2001. He has also been a leading consultant, project events manager and lead practitioner for numerous community organisations, groups and government institutions (Muslim Police Association, Black Police Association, Metropolitan Police Service of Hackney, Stepney Green Secondary School, Eastlea Secondary School, South Quay College, Newham, Haringey and Southwark Councils and Southwark Youth Offending Team & Lambeth Youth Inclusion Programme). SOCIAL ACTIVIST

Since the early 90’s Hakim has become known in the Black community of London affectionately as, “Brother Hakim” in his commitment and dedication in being active in contributing towards the fight for establishing social justice and equality. Through the position of; Director of Outreach of the European Regional Headquarters of the Nation of Islam. Hakim has built a solid relationship and network that spreads across various mainstream political parties, African and Caribbean grass roots organisations as wells as different religious groups.
