Laurence Jones

Laurence is the Manager - Europe at Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO), the Government of Jamaica export and investment promotional agency, based at the Jamaican High Commission in London.

Laurence facilitates foreign direct investment projects in Jamaica with an emphasis on global digital services, manufacturing, transportation & logistics, energy, mining, and infrastructure projects. Also, Laurence supports European companies that wish to represent and/or act as distributors for Jamaican made products. 

Laurence holds a master’s degree in international and Commercial Law from the University of Buckingham, designated World Trade Specialist. He is a member of Lincoln’s Inn and was called to the Bar of England and Wales as well as Jamaica. Laurence practiced as an Attorney-at-Law in Jamaica where he represented several multinational corporations doing business in Jamaica.
