Analisa Chapman

A lover of literature, law and the magic of movies, Analisa’s creative and professional journey has included work as a Producer and Production Manager for music videos, talk-show radio, theatre and short films and feature film projects.  She is also one of the founding directors of the female-helmed Have A Bawl Productions, focused on creating Jamaican content with global appeal. 

No stranger to authorship, she has been an awardee for the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s Screenwriting competition as a co-writer for the short film Rise. A graduate of the University of the West Indies - Bachelors of Arts (Literatures in English), she gained her early creative experience working with the University Dramatic Arts Society, the independent theatre collective Musical Waters and the indie film collective Guerilla Filmmakers.

Additionally, Analisa is an experienced Intellectual Property and Entertainment attorney, and has been an Entertainment Reporter, Freelance Writer, and Junior Marketing and Public Relations Account Executive. 

Analisa was a project team finalist for the 2021 San Francisco Film Festival Rainin Grant as one of the Producers for Escape to Last Man Peak and  is an alumnus of the acclaimed 2022 IFFR Rotterdam Lab, the UKTP Cariforum Production Lab (2023) and the inaugural OAS Regional Filmmakers Lab (2024). She is also an active member and a Past President of the Jamaica Film and Television Association (JAFTA), a member of Women in Film and Television Jamaica (WIFTJA) and a Board Member of the Creative Production and Training Centre in Jamaica; and lives by the mantra: “Trust in God, but lock your car.
