Charlene Campbell
Charlene Campbell is the Head of Development at Renaissance Studios, an award-winning production company. She manages a talented creative team specialising in unscripted formats, including Entertainment, Fact Ent, and Documentary. She has previously worked for companies such as BBC, QVC, Al Jazeera, and The Discovery Networks. With a proven track record of delivering successful projects across both linear and digital platforms, Charlene excels in production and continues pushing broadcasters to champion new diverse talent.
Her extensive professional experience has equipped her to lead The Development Clinic, an initiative designed to teach audiences about the intricacies of Television Development—specifically, how to shape ideas, format creation and pitch to commissioners.
Additionally, Charlene is a Co-Founder of Film and Chill, a community cinema project that spotlights short films from underrepresented filmmakers.
Charlene’s work is part of a larger legacy at Renaissance Studios, and she was recently invited to meet King Charles III.
