Ne Kunda Nlaba
Born in Kinshasa in D.R.Congo, Ne Kunda Nlaba is an Award-winning African Film Producer, Director, Screenwriter, and Political Scientist based in London.
Multi-award-winner and including the Artistic and Cultural Achievement Award at the Lambeth Civic Awards 2024 in London, Ne Kunda Nlaba produced and directed documentary and fiction films distributed on streaming platforms such as on Amazon and Kweli TV, Tubi, Xumo, on Television, in cinemas, and at national and international film festivals including "The Next" (2009), "The Steel Pan" (2010), "Living Without Living" (2011), "Chérie Bondowe" (2012), "Abeti Masikini: Le Combat d'Une Femme" (2015) and "Kimpa Vita: The Mother of African Revolution" (2016), "Kingdom of Kongo: In Search of the Destroyed Kingdom" (2020), "Kimbangu: A Black Saviour" (2025) and is producing drama feature films "The Tomb of Mani Kongo", "Kimpa Vita" and "Nasara".
He is the owner and C.E.O of Labson Bizizi-Cine Kongo Ltd and the African film distribution company, Afrika Bizizi Distribution Ltd, founder and Film Teacher at Kongo Bizizi Academy “the Pan African Film Institute” and founder and Director General of the Luanda International Pan African Film Festival (Luanda PAFF) and London International Pan African Film Festival (London PAFF).
