Harry Reeves

Harry Reeves is a filmmaker from St Albans with a distinct affinity for the surreal and the quietly strange. His work explores the subtle absurdities of human behaviour, often focusing on the routines and patterns that define us.

Alongside his creative practice, Harry has worked extensively as a videographer and producer in corporate environments. This experience has sharpened his understanding of people from the small habits, contradictions and personal rituals that make each individual unique. These observations informed his previous films, 'Birdwatching' and 'Housekeeping', which examine how resistance to change and an attachment to routine can precipitate a character’s downfall. With a hands-on background in all areas of production from rigging lights to camera operation, he approaches filmmaking with a practical and collaborative attitude.

As co-founder of Amenno, he is committed to creating tangible opportunities for emerging artists. He believes in building accessible pathways into the film industry, particularly at a local level, and works to foster environments where new voices can develop, experiment, and be seen.
