Natalia Jugheli
Natalia Jugheli was born in 1993 and is a graduate of Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University.
Her first break came when she performed Antigone as a second-year student.
After finishing her BFA in Georgia, she took an intensive semester course at LAMDA in London. She played the rebellious daughter of the protagonist in the feature film The Chair in 2017.
She was among the talents at the Subtitle Festival in Kilkenny the same year.
In 2019, her participation in The Criminal Man brought her to the Venice Film Festival where the film premiered.
She has been working extensively since and is based between London and Tbilisi.
Realta a feature film by Elena Griggio premiered in 2024 and it features Natalia as a co-lead.
In 2025 the TV series with Natalia's participation will be released on the Georgias major Platform.
Additionally, Natalia worked as a casting consultant for Levan Akin’s Crossing 2024.
In 2023 Natalia founded the Nato Vachnadze Foundation which aims to support the filmmaking industry in Georgia.
The foundation created the only film awards of the country called Eliso which will be held annually. While also supporting the Georgian Film Festival in London and the Kutaisi International Short Film Festival.
