Amit Kaur

Amit Kaur is a filmmaker working across narrative and documentary forms, with a focus on cross-cultural storytelling. Her BFI funded short CUPPA CHAI screened at academy qualifying Oberhausen and Cleveland Film Festivals amongst others, and won at World of Film International, Glasgow.  Her feature film CROWN, which explores young immigrant experiences, was selected for development with the FILMONOMICS Programme. As a Board Member of UK Asian Film Festival, Amit actively fosters film collaborations between the UK and South Asia. Driven by the philosophy of creating your own table, Amit is working to build platforms where diverse voices can flourish and stories transcend borders.
