Hen, Györgi Pálfi

Hen (2026) is the story of a hen escaping slaughter on a Greek island, who is later captured and imprisoned in the hen house of a restaurant. As she is determined to free herself from this unnatural chain she is looped to, her environment becomes increasingly dangerous as the restaurant owner gets involved with local migrant trafficking. Harsh, exciting, thoughtful and funny, Hen offers a unique reflection on how behind much of mankind’s privileges, there lie endless overlapping chains of exploitation.
