ENZO
A 16-year-old boy defies his bourgeois family's expectations by starting a masonry apprenticeship where he meets a charismatic Ukrainian colleague who shakes up his world.
Enzo, Robin Campillo & Gilles Marchand
Enzo (2025) is the character study of its titular teen, who defies his wealthy parents by apprenticing as a bricklayer. There, he falls for his coworker, a charismatic but conflicted Ukrainian man. While a tad overlong, Enzo makes you feel for its directionless lead. With beautiful cinematography, Enzo is a quiet coming-of-age that’s as sentimental as it is surprisingly relatable.
