Dominik Moll’s next Palme D’Or nominated film, Case 137 (2025), follows Stéphanie Bertrand (Léa Drucker), as she investigates police crimes during the infamous Yellow Vest protests. Frustrated at a system that seems doomed to fail, the film gently interrogates the role of state authority in national demonstrations, and questions whether it is truly equipped to protect innocent, law-abiding civilians.
