Yet Ade’s dedication as mother to her children and devoted wife binds her to traditional duty and sacrifice. Caring for their sick mother, they are made to confront buried resentments and come to understand the mirrored truths they find in one another. Damilola Orimogunje weaves the sisters’ lives together in a raw portrait of everyday family life.
