Rob Williams
Robert Williams studied Film and English at UEA. He is the producer, writer and director of the short film, The Crackling Glade, commissioned by Ideastap's Innovators scheme. The film was an award winner of the Shakespeare Short Film Festival by Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. It was screened in Imperial War Museum for two weeks in 2014. He was the Producer, Writer and Director on Urban Spiritual, made for the Ex Animo Foundation and as part of the Roundhouse's creative programme. He has been producing for Shan Ng’s films, including The Cult of June and A Situation, developing science fiction Mortal Joys with late Star Wars producer Gary Kurtz in 2018. He was selected as a producer on Nocturnal for Film London Microwave Film Fund 2016 and participated in WEP Films' Junior Entertainment Talent Slate 2018 in Berlin. Robert has worked as a senior talent agent since 2015.

Rob Williams is a Senior Talent Manager at Vactinate Pictures. Vaticinate Pictures is one of 76 independent production companies in the BBC Audio Supplier network. In 2025–2026, we are producing two documentaries for BBC World Service and a radio drama for BBC Radio 4.
Our BBC Radio 4 dramas—The Good Earth (series), Dragons of the Pools, and Curse of the Five Elements—were all named “Pick of the Week” in Radio Times. Director Shan was shortlisted for Best Director at the BBC Audio Awards for Tiger Girls (2018/19).
In 2017, our feature film The Vanishing Time, commissioned by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, was selected for the JETS Co-Production Scheme at the Berlin International Film Festival.
We are now in pre-production on the feature Second First Love, with distribution secured by California Pictures. Another film, Displacement, has been optioned by Golden Gate Production.
Beyond production, Vaticinate Pictures manages 35 diverse on screen talents from across the world. In our recent feature My Half Night, we cast three of our represented artists and employed a crew that was over half based in Essex and surrounding regions—demonstrating our commitment to inclusive storytelling and regional talent development.
