Join us for the third TNB XPO - an annual convention created by The New Black Film Collective (TNBFC) with support from Film London (Principal Partner), British Film Institute (BFI), Bectu, BYP Network, Documentary Film Council, Doc Society, Film and TV Charity, Film Distributors' Association (FDA), Open City Documentary Festival, Sara Putts Agency, Screen Daily, ScreenSkills, Warner Bros. Discovery, XL Fest.

This landmark event showcases Black excellence and encourages increased diversity within the UK screen industries and internationally.

With a fantastic line-up of talks, screenings, pitching, and networking, TNB XPO gives Black creatives and industry professionals a chance to exchange ideas, fill gaps in recruiting, and develop a genuinely inclusive filmmaking ecosystem. We aim to help the wider industry become more diverse, resulting in box office success and social impact.

Why attend?

  • Meet experts from Warner Bros. Discovery, Film London, BECTU, BFI and more.

  • Attend talks, screenings, pitching, and networking events.

  • Connect with talented writers, directors, producers, exhibitors and educators.

  • Access opportunities to enhance and advance your career.

Who should attend?

  • Anyone working in, or anyone hoping to work in, the UK screen industries—film, television, games, animation, and VFX—in any job, whether in front of the camera, behind the scenes, in support roles, production, or finance.

  • TNB XPO is for everyone across the whole eco-system of the screen industries, from the ideas people and the creatives to the talent and the on-screen professionals to the technicians, directors, and those who bring work to fruition and those who support behind the scenes to make it happen.

  • If you work in one of these roles or if you want to work in one of these roles, TNB XPO is for you, directors, producers and screenwriters, producers, assistant directors, location managers, people working in make-up, costume, props, and set design, technical professions such as photographers, lighting technicians and sound mixers and distributors, marketers, exhibitors, publicists, and support staff.
